Squarespace integration
Squarespace SEO for pet-care businesses
Squarespace suits pet businesses that sell on their photos: a sunny daycare yard, a freshly groomed spaniel, a cosy cattery. ServiceCited adds the facts behind them through one line of code in Code Injection, with no login shared. Google & Bing see those fixes; AI assistants don't run the code.

API keys need Squarespace's Commerce Advanced plan; Code Injection needs Core or above. Google and Bing see the snippet's fixes. AI assistants don't run it, so they only see what the key changes.
What you get
What ServiceCited does on Squarespace
Galleries that say what's in them
Squarespace galleries keep camera file names. We add plain descriptions of the breed, the groom or the space, and the town.
Labels with your real details
Squarespace's built-in labels describe a general business. ServiceCited adds your areas, hours, booking link and credentials from your profile.

Good to know
Squarespace tips for pet businesses
Code Injection needs the Core plan or above
The line of code goes in Settings → Developer Tools → Code Injection, which Squarespace offers on its Core plan and above. On a lower plan, we send each fix as steps instead.
Write services in text blocks
Acuity Scheduling and other booking embeds show your services in their own window. Add a text block listing each service and price on the page as well.
FAQ
Squarespace questions
Type to search these questions, or ask anything about getting found on Google and AI.
Does ServiceCited need my Squarespace login?
No. You paste one line of code into Code Injection once. Approved fixes then go live through it, and deleting the line switches it off.
Will AI assistants see the fixes?
Not the ones the code applies: Google and Bing run it, AI assistants don't. That's why we also give you the key text — services, areas and policies — to paste into your pages, where every reader can see it.
Can it publish to my Squarespace blog?
Not directly. Posts come finished and formatted for you to paste in, which takes a minute.
