Any website integration

SEO for pet business websites on any platform

Some pet businesses' websites are built by a designer, a marketing company or a franchise head office, and you may not have a login at all. ServiceCited still works: one line of code, added once, and approved fixes go live through it.

At a glance

Copy-paste snippet
  • Publish blog postsInstructions instead
  • SEO titles & meta descriptionsYes
  • Image alt textYes
  • Structured data (JSON-LD)Yes

Snippet changes are applied in the browser, which Google and Bing render. AI assistants don't run it, so they don't see these fixes. A direct connection is best when your platform offers one.

What you get

What ServiceCited does on Any website

  • Fixes without sharing logins

Page names, descriptions, photo descriptions and business labels go live through the snippet. Nobody hands over a password.

  • Steps for whoever runs your site

We email clear instructions to your designer or head office, so adding the line takes them a few minutes.

  • AI visits included

The same line shows you which AI assistants send owners to your site.

  • Applies approved titles, meta descriptions and Open Graph tags
  • Adds missing image alt text
  • Injects LocalBusiness, FAQ and LocalBusiness structured data
  • Gives you finished blog posts as clean HTML to paste anywhere

Setup

Connect Any website in a minute

  1. 1Copy your site's one-line script tag from ServiceCited.
  2. 2Paste it into the <head> of your site, or send it to your developer.
  3. 3Approved fixes go live through the snippet for Google & Bing — no logins or passwords shared.

Google and Bing run the code like a browser, so they see these fixes. AI assistants like ChatGPT read the page as it arrives, so they don't.

Permissions we request

  • Load the fixes you approve and apply them to your pages in browsers (Google and Bing see them; AI assistants read your page's raw HTML)
  • Report once per visit that the snippet is installed (page address only, no visitor data)
  • Count visits from AI assistants and search engines (page path, referring site and utm_source; no cookies, just a note in the browser tab so a visit isn't counted twice; IP addresses aren't stored)

Nothing changes on your site until you press Optimize — and every change is listed in your history, where you can undo it.

Good to know

Any website tips for pet businesses

  • Ask for it in the header

The line belongs in the <head> of every page. Most platforms have a “header code” or “tracking code” box for exactly this.

  • Put key facts in the page text too

Snippet fixes reach Google and Bing, not AI assistants. Ask your web person to add your services, areas and policies as page text as well; we'll give you the words.

  • Own your web address

If someone else hosts your site, make sure the domain is registered to you, so you keep your search history if you ever move.

FAQ

Any website questions

Type to search these questions, or ask anything about getting found on Google and AI.

Is a snippet as good as a direct connection?

No. Snippet changes are applied in the browser: Google and Bing run them, AI assistants don't. A direct connection is better when your platform has one, and we'll tell you if it does.

I'm part of a franchise. Can I add it myself?

If head office runs the website, they'll need to add the line, so agree it with them first. We can email them the steps and a short summary of what it does.
