Examples

What a good answer looks like

Written for a made-up business. Use the length and the directness, not the facts.

  • What vaccinations does my dog need to board?

We ask for your dog's annual booster, given at least 14 days before arrival, and a kennel cough vaccine within the last 12 months. Please bring the vaccination card on the day, as we can't board a dog without it.

  • Can my two dogs share a kennel?

Yes, dogs who live together can share one of our family kennels, which measure 3 metres by 2 with a run outside. Sharing costs £36 a night for the pair, against £22 each in single kennels.

  • What are your drop-off and collection times?

Drop-off and collection are 8–11am and 3–5pm, Monday to Saturday. We're closed to visitors on Sundays and bank holidays, so plan to collect on the Saturday or the next working day.

FAQ

Putting answers on your site

Google stopped showing FAQ dropdowns in its results in 2026, so the win is the answers themselves: written on your pages, where people and AI assistants read them.

Type to search these questions, or ask anything about getting found on Google and AI.

Should our licence go in the footer or on a page of its own?

Both work: a line in the footer with the licence number and the issuing council, and a fuller note on your About or “Before you book” page. Update both after every inspection.

We're closed for collections on Sundays. Should we explain why?

A short reason helps, like giving the dogs and staff a quieter day. Owners searching for a Sunday collection find the answer straight away, instead of booking and then finding out.

Should we write about dogs who struggle in kennels?

Yes, honestly: what you do for dogs who find kennels hard, like a quieter block or extra time with staff, and when you'd suggest home boarding or a sitter instead. Saying you aren't right for every dog makes the rest of the page easier to believe.
